Brief Biography

I am a Graduate student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, San Diego (UCSD).Currently doing research in the fields of neural networks and computer vision at Statistical Visual Computing Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Nuno Vasconcelos. I received my B.E.(Hons.) in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, ,Pilani, India in July 2016. After receiving my Bachelors degree, I worked as a researcher at HTIC, IIT Madras for a period of 7 months. I expect to complete my Masters in June 2019.

Research

I am interestd in data science, machine learning, computer vision and recommender systems. My current research focuses on estimating size of objects from a single RGB image, using neural networks.
