Currently, he is doing research in the field of computer vision, under the supervision of Prof. Nuno Vasconcelos. He joined SVCL January 2017 during his undergraduate at UCSD, where he received his BS. in Electrical Engineering in December 2017. After receiving his BS, he worked as an application developer at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Google at different times throughout the year. He is expected to graduate in June 2020 and will be pursuing work within the technical industry.
He enjoys working in the field of computer vision and machine learning. Currently, his research focuses on the application of machine learning within ocean science, by developing autonomous classifiers for real-time detection of underwater biological specimens. He is also exploring the problem about data collection strategies for few entity learning.
